Pete invited retired Army Major Danny Sjursen to return to the show. Danny is a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghan "Surges" but also taught American History at West Point and is a history fanatic.
Danny does a survey of one of only 5 "declared" wars in U.S. history, the "war of 1812," concentrating on why it was significant especially to American political party history, and relations with the Native Americans, slaves and Canada.
