Some Strong Language
Christian Gruber is a software engineer at Square who spent the
better part of ten years working for Alphabet's Google and YouTube
divisions. He talks about the culture there, answers questions
about their dealings with China, goes over the James Damore
incident and talks about being in the YouTube cafeteria when the
shooting started on April 3rd, 2018.
He starts out talking about an interaction he had on Twitter with
some folks who claimed that Mises' economic calculation problem had
been solved by A.I. He explains that their starting premise is
faulty and gives a great overview of why the problem of central
planning hasn't been solved yet.
